R-Day celebration arrangements finalized at Bhaderwah

Bhaderwah : Republic Day celebration arrangements were Saturdayfinalised here at a meeting chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner,Rakesh Kumar.
The arrangements regarding security, first aid, sanitation, Fire and Emergency Services, seating arrangements, power & water supply, and issuance of invitation cards were finalised after detailed discussion.All the concerned departments were directed to finalize the required arrangements before January 24, the day of full dress rehearsal.It was decided that the function will be held in Boys Higher Secondary School near New Bus stand Kotli where the chief guest will unfurl the National Flag at 9:50 AM and the contingents of JKAP, NCC senior wing of girls and boys from Degree College Bhadarwah will participate in the march past. It was decided that no cultural program would be held in view of the rise in the Covid cases. It was also decided that the day will start with playing of ShenaiVadan by Information Department Bhaderwah.
The meeting was attended by TehsildarBhadarwah, Executive Engineer PWD, AEE PHE, AEE PMGSY, besides other officers/officials.Committees constituted for proper management and timely arrangements were directed to complete the assigned tasks in time.
