Jammu : To mark the ongoing ‘Azadi kaAmrutMahotsav’celebrations, J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL), JammuFriday organized a virtual Music and Dance programme “LehrayeTiranga” at
Abhinav Theater here.While addressing the virtual audiences, Additional Secretary (Central),
JKAACL, Sanjeev Rana, said that due to Covid-19 it is impossible to have an
offline event. He further said that if the situation allow us in coming
days, we will organise many programmes under ‘AzaadiKaAmrutMohatsav’, an
initiative of Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of
progressive India.
The virtual programme was started with melodious singing of Vanshika
Jaral who made everyone awestruck with her scintillating voice. This was
followed by the mesmerizing performances by Suresh Chouhan, Nandani Kapoor,
Zulekha Fareed, ShivaniKoul, Shriya, Simran and Sameeksha.
The artists were accompanied by masters of their respective instruments
including DarbariLal (Tabla), Rohit Kumar (Octopad), Krishan Kumar (Synth)
and Sanjay Kumar (Guitar).
The programme was culminated with the patriotic dance presentation
choreographed by Ajay Raina, composed by KuldeepSaproo and presented by
RMK Art & Research Foundation who made virtual audiences spellbound withtheir dancing skills.
