DC Ramban finalises R- Day arrangements

Ramban : Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam Thursday finalized the arrangements for Republic Day, 2022 celebrations at a meeting of district and sectoral officers here at conference hall Ramban.
ADDC Rajinder Kumar; ACR, Dhirendra Sharma and other senior officers were present in the meeting.
In the meeting, the DC reviewed the status of several arrangements like seating, barricading, drinking water and power supply, sanitation, fire services, security, transport, traffic regulations and other necessary arrangements being made by different departments.
It was decided in the meeting that the main R-Day function would be held at District Police Lines Ground, where the National Flag will be unfurled by the chief guest followed by March Past by the contingents of CRPF, JKP, JKAP, Army band etc.
The DC urged all district heads to ensure their presence as well as their subordinate officers and officials on the Republic Day function both at the District Headquarter, Sub Division, Tehsil and Block levels.
In view of Covid-19 pandemic, the Republic day celebration would be limited and with strict adherence to social distancing norms and wearing of masks.
The CMO was directed to ensure proper implementation of COVID-19 SOPs besides emergency healthcare arrangements at the venue in full shall be ensured on rehearsal and National Day function.
