Haji Farooq appeals people for vaccination, proper implementation of CAB, Gets booster dose of Covid Vaccine

Kupwara : The Vice Chairman District Development Council (VC-DDC), Kupwara, Haji Farooq Ahmad Mir Wednesday appealed the people of Kupwara district to get their booster dose of Covid vaccine as soon as possible to get protected against the omicron variant of Covid pandemic disease. He urged the parents to vaccinate their wards of 15-17 year age group for their safety.
The Vice Chairman said this during his visit to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Kupwara. He interacted with concerned medical officers including District Health Officer, Abdul Gani Dar and Medical Superintendent and enquired about the progress of Covid vaccination and sampling.
Meanwhile, the Vice Chairman got a booster shot of Covid vaccine in the SDH.
On the occasion, the Vice Chairman said that in view of spike in Covid positive cases in J&K of J&K, people should not lower the guard against the pandemic and should religiously follow Covid appropriate behavior including wearing of mask, maintaining social distance and frequently sanitizing.
