DC reviews functioning of RDD at Kulgam, Stresses for timely completion of works, projects

Kulgam : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr.BilalMohi-Ud-Din Bhat Wednesday chaired a detailed meeting of Officers of Rural Development Department to review the progress on different flagship schemes under implementation in the district.
During the meeting, the DC reviewed the progress and achievements made under PMAY-G, MGNREGA, B2V, 14th FC, CAPEX and other flagship schemes.
The DC was informed by ACD Mohammad Imran Khan that the target of 14.80 lac man days has been achieved with a release of an amount of 32.04 crore as wages.It was also informed that there is 100 percent geo-tagging of works and the district has made 99 percent timely payment with 100 percent Aadhar seeding.
It was also revealed during the meeting that under 14th-FC 3655 works stands completed with an estimated cost of 37 crore.ACD informed the chair that under District CAPEX 2021-22, expenditure of 11.50 crore have been made and 803 works stands completed.
He also apprised the chair that under B2V-3, 61 works have been completed with an expenditure of 2.81 crore and under PMAY-G out of 1714 units 1401 structures have been completed with an expenditure of 20.44 crore.
The DC instructed ACD and all BDOs to redouble efforts to achieve all targets well in time and to ensure completion of rest targets fixed under PMAY-G.
He also directed to identify land for New Panchayat bhawans and to complete these structures well in time.
The DC instructed to complete work on DDC, BDC offices and accommodation structures on mission mode and stressed to formulate forest convergence plan.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD), Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, District Panchayat Officer, Executive Engineer REW, Block Development Officers, AEE and other officers of the Rural Development Department.
