Bandipora : On the directions of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmad, Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Ali Afsar Khan on Wednesday visited Sumbal Sub-Division and inspected the Community Health Centre Sumbal.
The ADDC inspected the CHC to review the Health care facilities being provided to the people besides reviewing the arrangements put in place to deal with the current wave of Covid-19.
Khan interacted with the doctors, patients and their attendants to receive the feedback about the facilities available in the healthcare institution. Doctors apprised the ADDC about the arrangements in place and assured him that all requisite measures have been taken to deal with any kind of emerging situation amid the third wave of Covid-19.
ADDC also conducted inspection of Micro Containment Zones to review the perimeter and other Containment measures. He also reviewed the enforcement of CAB, testing and Vaccination.
Khan urged the officers to ensure strict implementation of CAB and stressed on wider publicity in the general public regarding preventive measures. He also suggested roping in local religious leaders, sports stars, opinion makers and other social media influencers to appeal to the local population to adopt Covid Appropriate Behavior.
He was accompanied by TehsildarSumbal, Zeeshan and other senior Health Officers of the district.
