231 works approved under tribal sub plan in Rajouri Distt

Rajouri  : As many as 231 works have been approved to augment basic amenities in the targeted habitations across Rajouri District under Tribal Sub Plan.
Reviewing the pace of progress on the works here Wednesday, the District Development Commissioner Rajouri, VikasKundal, asked the executing agencies to meet the timeline for providing desired benefits to the targeted people. The meeting was informed that out of 231 works approved under tribal sub plan for the district, as many as 53 works have been completed in all respects.
The meeting was attended by DFO Rajouri, Arshdeep Singh; ACD, SushilKhajuria; SE Hydraulics, JP Singh; CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; PO ICDS, Kartar Singh; DSHO, Dr SarfrazNaseem Chowdhury; CAHO, Dr Fazal Hussain; ExEn PWD Rajouri, Maqbool Husaain and other concerned officers
The meeting discussed the progress on the development of cluster model villages, establishment of smart schools, tribal transit accommodations, E classrooms, Tribal Bhawans, sheep extension centres, milk villages, installation of handpumps, electrification works etc.
Issues impeding the execution of works were also discussed threadbare in the meeting.
The DDC asked the concerned to expedite the progress to complete works within the set deadlines. He also stressed on judicious use of funds under the tribal plan besides asking for adhering to guidelines of the Tribal Department while executing development works.
