Jammu : Jammu Municipal Corporation Tuesday conducted an anti-encroachment drive Near Chest & Disease Hospital and Govt. Medical College Jammu and demolished 10 illegal structures raised on foot path.
The JMC teams appealed to citizens not to encroach upon footpaths/pavement as the same cause inconvenience to the pedestrians and also create obstruction in the free movement of vehicular traffic.
The drive was conducted under the instructions of Commissioner, JMC, AvnyLavasa to clear the footpath/pavements/road side obstructions. The Enforcement /Revenue staff led by Assistant Commissioner Revenue conducted the drive.
