Rajouri : Department of Fisheries has clarified that it has planned to introduce Paddy Fish Culture, not the Japanese Fish in Rajouri district.
“About the subject cited above, it is to state that during the discussions in a meeting with Deputy Commissioner Rajouri held on 15.01.2022, wherein Deputy Commissioner Rajouri instructed for the introduction of Japanese Fish in the District on the pattern of the Fish culture in Arunachal Pradesh. But now it is clarified that it is Paddy Fish Culture, not the Japanese Fish that is being cultured in Arunachal Pradesh and so the department shall work on the feasibility for the introduction of paddy fish Culture in the district, and the same has also been discussed with the Deputy Commissioner” it stated.
