Rajouri Admin imposes weekend restrictions, DC appeals public to follow guidelines

Rajouri : The District Administration Rajouri has imposed weekend curfew as a containment measure against the fresh Covid wave.
There shall be complete restrictions on the movement of the non-essential commodities in the entire territorial jurisdiction of Rajouri district with effect from Saturday, an order issued by DM stated.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner, VikasKundal has made an appeal to the general public to cooperate with the District Administration by following the guidelines. He said that the restrictions have been imposed in the larger interest of the general public.
He also urged the public not to lower the guard and keep following the Covid Appropriate Behaviour along with other guidelines including wearing masks, maintaining social distancing and hand hygiene to keep themselves and others safe from the coronavirus infection.
