Police organises PCPG meetings in Awantipora

Awantipora : As a part of public outreach programme, Police in Awantiporaorganised series of Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meetings throughout the Police District. These meetings were held while following social distancing norms and other Covid protocols.
According to a police statement issued on Saturday the meetings were chaired by concerned SDPOs along with Executive Magistrates and SHOs. The meetings were attended by Imams, respectable citizens, members of Auqaf committees, Trader’s federation, Transporters and various market associations.
During these meetings, the participants were briefed about the apprehensions of spread of Covid-19 and were requested to spread awareness among masses to follow Covid Appropriate Behaviour (CAB). The chaired officers briefed participants about the preventive measures to contain spread of Covid-19.
The participants were also requested to follow the guidelines as well as health advisories issued by the Government of UT Jammu and Kashmir/District administration from time to time in view of Covid-19 pandemic.
