LMVs to ply from Jmu to Sgr today

Srinagar: Traffic department authorities on Friday said that on Saturday subject to fair weather and better road conditions Light Motor Vehicles and private cars shall be allowed from Jammu towards Srinagar (strictly one way) on the Jammu-Srinagar highway.
The traffic department in an advisory said TCU Jammu shall liaise with TCU Ramban before releasing the traffic.
It also said that commuters are advised not to travel on Jammu-Srinagar NHW without confirming the status of the road from TCU Jammu/Ramban.
The traffic department in an advisory said LMVS will have to cross Nagrota (Jammu) from 09:00 hrs to 13:00 hrs, Jakheni (Udhampur) from 1000 hrs to 1400 hrs.
No vehicle shall be allowed before and after the cut off timings.
Mughal Road closed for vehicular movement in view of snow accumulation at Peer Ki Gali by the order of Deputy Commissioner Shopian.
Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumri Road closed for vehicular movement in view of snow accumulation on Zoji la axis by the order of DIVCOM Ladakh. No traffic movement shall be allowed on Kishtwar Sinthan Road in view of snow accumulation.
