Covid care: 575 children vaccinated, 2872 samples collected for covid testing in Ramban

Ramban : As per the District Immunization Officer, Ramban, Dr, Suresh the Health Department administered the vaccination to 1022 people including 575 children in 15-17 years age group which includes 220 in Medical Block Banihal, 147 in Batote, 100 in Ukhral and 108 in Gool.
Continuing the enforcement drive to implement Covid protocol across the district Ramban, the Enforcement teams Thursday fined scores of violators for roaming without wearing face masks and not maintaining physical distance.
The enforcement teams, during the inspection in their respective jurisdictions, recovered a fine of Rs. 29,600 taking the total amount fined since April 1, 2021 to Rs. 80,24,100. The Enforcement officers urged the people to wear face masks and maintain physical distance besides taking Covid vaccination doses at their nearest CVC.
As per daily bulletin issued by the Chief Medical Officer, Ramban, Dr. Mohammad FareedBhat, the Health Department has collected 2872 samples including 762 RT-PCR and 2110 RAT samples besides administering Covid vaccine to 1022 persons at 34 dedicated Vaccination Centres in the district.
