Ramban: 785 vaccinated in 15-17 age group, 2764 samples collected for Covid testing

Ramban | : As per District Immunization Officer, Ramban, Dr, Suresh, the Health Department on Wednesday administered vaccine doses to 1327 people including 785 children in 15-17 years age group which includes 180 in Medical Block Banihal, 228 in Batote, 190 in Ukhral and 187 in Gool.
Meanwhile, the Enforcement teams Wednesday fined scores of violators for roaming without wearing face masks and not maintaining physical distance.
The enforcement teams, during the inspection in their respective jurisdictions, recovered a fine of Rs. 16,100 taking the total amount fined since April 1, 2021 to Rs. 79, 94, 500. The Enforcement officers urged the people to wear face masks and maintain physical distance besides taking Covid vaccination doses at their nearest CVC.
As per daily bulletin issued by the Chief Medical Officer, Ramban, Dr. Mohammad FareedBhat, the Health Department has collected 2764 samples including 459 RT-PCR and 2305 RAT samples besides administering Covid vaccine to 1327 persons at 34 dedicated Vaccination Centres in the district.
