Rajouri |: Joint COVID Control team Wednesday recovered Rs 49800 fine from Covid SOP violators here across the district.
Continuing the drive to implement Covid protocol across the district, the Joint COVID Control teams recovered Rs 49800 fine from 556 violators for not adhering to COVID appropriate behaviour.
Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Dr AneesAltafNabi informed that as many as 1381 vaccine doses were administered to the children between the age group of 15-18 across the Rajouri district Wednesday taking the total vaccination for this age group to 18073.
It is also pertinent to mention here that 3197 samples including 771 RT-PCR and 2426 RAT tests were also conducted in the district.
The special Joint COVID Control teams have been constituted to strictly enforce the COVID appropriate behavior in the district.
Moreover, the Department of Information and Public Relations( DIPR) is also conducting an awareness campaign through announcements and the Thanamandi subdivision was covered Wednesday. Similarly, all the subdivisions of the district would be covered under the awareness campaign and effort will be made to touch the villages also.
In addition to this, an awareness campaign on social media is going on and public representatives and religious leaders have been involved to inform the masses about the need to follow COVID appropriate behaviour to avert the third COVID wave in the district.
