Ramban | : On the direction of the Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Food Safety and Legal Metrology Department Ramban Tuesday conducted Market checking at Peera and Chanderkote areas.
The inspection team led by the NaibTehsildar, Chanderkote carried out market checking drive from take off Point NH Peerah to Chanderkote and compounded a fine of Rs 6500 from erring traders. Over 100 kgs of rotten vegetables were also destroyed on the Spot.
Meanwhile, two samples of food articles were also lifted for Lab. Test, while Food Business Operators were directed to display the rate list in front of their shops & follow Covid appropriate behavior.
