Covid-19 In JK: 2 deaths reported in last 24 hours, toll stays 4542

Srinagar, Jammu: Jammu & Kashmir on Tuesday reported 1148 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 640 from Jammu division and 508 from Kashmir division, taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 346506, J&K Government on Tuesday said, stating therein further that two more Covid deaths reported from Jammu Division has mounted J&K covid death toll to 4542.
Government in it’s bulletin further more said that moreover, 360 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 245 from Jammu Division and 115 from Kashmir Division, stating therein further that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported Tuesday.
On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 90,634doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to1,94,97,848.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 346506 positive cases, 4810are Active Positive (2676in Jammu Division and 2134in Kashmir Division), 337150 have recovered and 4546 have died; 2211 in Jammu division and 2335in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 19942682 test results available, 346506 samples have tested positive and 19596176 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 54,679 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 5450352 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 7402persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 4810 in isolation and 433420 in home surveillance. Besides, 5000174 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported Tuesday, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 256 cases, Baramulla reported 94 cases, Budgam reported 59 cases, Pulwama reported 12 cases, Kupwara reported 30 cases, Anantnag reported 18 cases, Bandipora reported 19 cases, Ganderbal reported 05 cases, Kulgam reported 13 cases while as Shopian reported 02 fresh cases for Tuesday.
Similarly, Jammu reported 301 cases, Reasi reported 71 cases for Tuesday, Udhampur reported 77cases, Rajouri reported 29cases, Doda reported 10 cases, Kathua reported 64 cases, Samba reported 26 cases, Poonch reported 45 case, Kishtwar reported 04 cases while as Ramban reported 13 fresh cases for Tuesday.
The bulletin further informs the general public that they can contact helpline numbers 0191-2520982/2674444/2674115/2674908/2549676 in Jammu Division and 0194-2440283/2430581/2452052/2457313/2457312 in Kashmir Division for any kind of guidance and assistance.
In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
