DIC Shopian raises awareness on CAB, SOPs

Srinagar/: On the directions of Director, Information and Public Relations (DIPR) to sensitize the common masses about the Covid -19 Appropriate Behaviour (CAB) and related SOPs, the District Information Centre (DIC) Shopian today conducted an awareness campaign through announcements in the vicinity of Shopian Town here.
Speaking on the occasion, the District Information Officer (DIO) Shopian, Showkat Ahmed Khan said that the main objective of organising this awareness campaign is to generate awareness among the masses about Covid-19 Appropriate Behaviour. He also advised the general public to protect themselves and others from coronavirus by strictly adhering to CAB and SOPs.
He urged the public to wear masks, wash hands with soap frequently and maintain social distance besides undertaking vaccination as these are the only effective tools for combating the resurgence of Covid infection.
He said the campaign ‘Say no to 3rd wave’ has been launched at various platforms using all forms of media, PAS, digital and social media in the district.
