DC Budgam inaugurates Booster Dose Vaccination

Budgam: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Shahbaz Ahmed Mirza today inaugurated the booster dose vaccination at Aga Syed Yousuf Memorial, District Hospital Budgam.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC said that under this campaign, over a lakh persons shall be given the booster dose across the district.
He said that the beneficiaries include co-morbids, frontline warriors and health workers, and people above 60 years of age.
Stressing on carrying out an intensified vaccination campaign, the DC instructed concerned to ensure all beneficiaries are administered the booster dose.
He said that vaccination of the 15-17 age group is also going on in full swing and appealed to parents to take their children to the centres for vaccination for their safety.
CMO, Budgam, Dr Tajamul Hussain Khan, Deputy CMO, Dr Tehmeena Bukhari, MS DH, Dr Ayoub and other members of the medical fraternity were present on the occasion.
