533 vaccinated in 15-17 age group, 1288 samples collected in Ramban

Ramban/J: As per report issued by the District Immunization Officer, Ramban, Dr, Suresh the Health Department administered the vaccination to 796 people including 533 children of 15-17 years age group which includes 180 in Medical Block Banihal, 158 in Batote, 94 in Ukhral and 101 in Gool.
Continuing the enforcement drive to implement Covid protocol across the district Ramban, the Enforcement teams today fined scores of violators for roaming without wearing face masks and not maintaining physical distance.
The enforcement teams, during the inspection in their respective jurisdictions, recovered a fine of Rs. 1300 taking the total amount fined since April 1, 2021 to Rs. 79, 63, 100. The Enforcement officers urged the people to wear face masks and maintain physical distance besides taking Covid vaccination doses at their nearest CVC.
As per daily bulletin issued by the Chief Medical Officer, Ramban, Dr. Mohammad Fareed Bhat, the Health Department has collected 1288 samples including 356 RT-PCR and 932 RAT samples besides administering Covid vaccine to 796 persons at dedicated Vaccination Centres in the district.
