R-Day arrangements reviewed at Karnah

Kupwara /: To ensure smooth conduct of Republic Day, 2022 function, the Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Karnah, Dr Gulzar Ahmad Rather Saturday convened a meeting of all concerned officers here at Mini Secretariat Tangdar.
Speaking on the occasion, the SDM stressed upon the officers to ensure hassle free arrangements for smooth conduct of the ensuing National Event. He also directed them to follow covid -19 protocol strictly and ensure wearing of masks during the function.
The meeting was informed that the main function of the Republic Day will be held at Mini Secretariat Tangdar and the function will start with ShahnaiVadan.
On the occasion, the SDM directed R&B department to ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness of the ground at Mini Secretariat. He also directed them to keep manpower available in case of snowfall on both days of rehearsal and main function.
While the Power Development department and PHE department were directed to ensure uninterrupted power and water supply. Besides, the Health department was directed to deploy Doctors and paremedics along with Ambulance and first aid at the venue. Security arrangements were also discussed in the meeting.
Among others SHO Karnah and other Tehsil level officers from various departments attended the meeting.
