Ang/: The Authorities of PHC Khiram, Saturday refuted the news item carried in a daily newspaper on 8th January regarding lack of X-Ray and ECG facilities at PHC Khiram.
In a statement issued here, the hospital administration has called the news item fake, misinformation and it has been made clear that X-Ray and ECG facilities are functioning 2 days a week at the said facility.
Further, a technician is presently undergoing training at SDH Bijbehara and will augment the operational capacity at PHC.
A proposal to convert the facility into a 24×7 center is also in the pipeline and will be forwarded for approval, added the statement.
It was further given out that round the clock X-Ray and ECG facility is also available at SDH Bijbehara which is 12 km’s from the PHC.
