DC Kulgam conducts surprise visit to Distt Hospital

Kulgam: To take stock of healthcare facilities being provided to the patients, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat Saturday paid a surprise visit to District Hospital Kulgam.
During the visit, the DC inspected various wards and sections of the hospital.
He also enquired about the availability of medicines, diagnostics and other facilities available in the hospital.
Concerned briefed the DC about the availability of medicines and services being provided to patients at the hospital.
The DC directed the hospital administration to maintain complete hygiene in and around the hospital and provide better medicare facilities to the patients. He instructed to ensure proper heating arrangements in hospital.
He also directed the hospital authorities to ensure that people and staff are wearing masks and following Covid-19 appropriate behaviour in letter and spirit.
The DC was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Showkat Ahmad Rather, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Mir Imitiyaz-ul-Aziz and other officers.
Later the Deputy Commissioner also visited several markets in town and took stock of snow clearance operations.
