Covid-19 In JK: 1 death reported in last 24 hours, toll stays 4534

Srinagar, Jammu : Jammu & Kashmir on Friday reported 542 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 288 from Jammu division and 254 from Kashmir division, taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 343310, said J&K Govt on Friday in it’s daily covid bulletin, stating therein further that also one Covid deaths has been reported from Jammu Division and as such the overall covid death toll rose to 4534 in Jammu & Kashmir.
J&K Government also said that moreover, 98more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 31from Jammu Division and67 from Kashmir Division, stating therein further that the Bulletin informs that onenew case of Mucormycosis has been reported Friday, taking the total number of confirmed cases to 51 across J&K..
On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 84,507doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to1,91,79,263.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 343310 positive cases, 2492are Active Positive (1318in Jammu Division and 1174in Kashmir Division), 336284 have recovered and 4534 have died; 2202 in Jammu division and 2332in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 19730457 test results available, 343310 samples have tested positive and 19387147 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 55,129 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 5380162 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 8264persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 2492 in isolation and 431756 in home surveillance. Besides, 4933116 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported Friday, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 137 cases, Baramulla reported 48 cases, Budgam reported 20 cases, Pulwama reported 02 cases, Kupwara reported 17cases, Anantnag reported 05 cases, Bandipora reported 03cases, Ganderbal reported 04 cases, Kulgam reported 18cases while as Shopian reported no fresh case for Friday.
Similarly, Jammu reported 176cases, Reasi reported 27 cases for Friday, Udhampur reported 16 cases, Rajouri reported 14 cases, Doda reported 15 cases, Kathua reported 23 cases, Samba reported 07cases, Poonch reported 06 case, Kishtwar reported 04 cases while as Ramban reported no fresh case for Friday.
The bulletin further informs the general public that they can contact helpline numbers 0191-2520982/2674444/2674115/2674908/2549676 in Jammu Division and 0194-2440283/2430581/2452052/2457313/2457312 in Kashmir Division for any kind of guidance and assistance.
In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
