J&K Bank opens Business Unit at Rajal Road, Nowshera

Jammu : Deepening its footprint further to extend modern banking services to its customers and people at large in Jammu and Kashmir, J&K Bank Thursday dedicated one more Business Unit (BU) to people in Rajouri at Rajal Road, Nowshera.
Additional DC Nowshera Sukhdev Singh Samyal inaugurated the business unit in presence of Zonal Head Jammu (West), Rajouri, Rajesh Dubey, Chairman Municipal Committee NowsheraNarinder Kumar Sharma amid a gathering of valuable customers, prominent citizens, local traders and other officials of the Bank. Prominent persons including Chairman BDC Nowshera Bodh Raj, President BeoparMandalNowshera Ravi Kant Gupta and President SanatanSabhaNowshera, JagdishSawhney were also present on the occasion.
While appreciating the continuous efforts of J&K Bank in bringing unbanked areas under its ambit, ADC Nowshera congratulated the Bank for opening the new business unit which, he said, will meet the banking requirements of people belonging to the entire catchment area.
Speaking on the occasion, Zonal Head Rajouri said, “Opening of the business unit would bring ease and convenience to the local population by delivering the banking services right near their doorstep.” Promising best banking services to the participants, he urged them to make full use of hi-tech facilities and avail different product and service offerings of the Bank. The participants welcomed the efforts of Bank and expressed hope that the new business unit would go a long way in transforming the economic landscape of the area.
With the commissioning of BU at Rajal Road, the number of business units has increased to 38 in district Rajouri and 66 in the Zone.
