DC Ramban inspects water logging problem in Govindpura

Ramban | : Taking a swift action on issue of water logging in Govindpura area highlighted by the delegation during public hearing, the Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam visited affected areas here Wednesday.
The Deputy Commissioner along with Executive Engineer Flood Control Division Ramban, Sunil Sharma and several other concerned officers visited Nai Basti area of Govindpura Maitra to review the situation.
After inspecting the arising situation due to water logging in the area, the DC directed Executive Engineer, Flood Control to prepare a comprehensive plan to tackle water logging & flood like situations in the area.
The DC also expressed his concern on unplanned construction in the area. He impressed upon the people to ensure proper lane and drainage system around their houses to avoid any emergency situation in future.
