Koulpur Mishap: Samba Admin provides Rs 1 lakh aid to family of deceased labourer

Samba |: District Administration Samba Tuesday released financial assistance to the tune of one lakh as an immediate relief to the family of MadanLal, BRO labourer, who succumbed to injuries received at Koulpur mishap.
The deceased MadanLal, a resident of ChakChandu in Suchetgarh was a construction worker at Border Road Organization. He breathed his last at GMC Jammu where he was shifted with critical injuries sustained in the mishap on Sunday evening.
Deputy Commissioner Samba expressed deep pain at the loss of life and said as immediate compensation an amount of One Lakh has been released in favour of Widow of the deceased Garo Devi. The DC also informed that the financial aid is in addition to the Border Road Organization compensation of Rs 2 lakh and Job offer to son and widow.
Sub Divisional Magistrate VijaypurVinay Sharma along with District Social Welfare Officer and District Information Officer met the deceased family at ChanduChak, Suchetgarh and provided financial assistance to the family.
