DDC VC Udhampur launches on ChigliKiya- Chigla Balota road

Udhampur | : JuhiPathania, Vice Chairperson, DDC Udhampur Tuesday launched work on ChigliKiya to ChiglaBalota road leading to Ujhbridge.
The work on 55 meter approach to the road shall be completed at estimated cost Rs 237.92 lakh. It shall provide road connectivity to ChiglaBalota, Siyameri, Playee, Kansala, Berrian, Chatraraand adjoining parts of Billawar and Bani.
While addressing enthusiastic locals, Pathania said that connectivity will benefit 10, 000 souls and regretted delay in the completion of the work on the road sanctioned under NABARD in the year 2015-16. She called upon contractor agency as well as the department to adhere to the stipulated timelines and quality parameters too. She further apprised the villagers that she had a detailed meeting with Lt. Governor the other day and canvassed for further connecting Kaitha- ChiglaBalota road with Kansala and from Siyamehri Bridge across Ujh.
She said voluble road connectivity is the considered goal and objective of the present dispensation under the leadership of PM NerendraModiji.
The DDC Vice-Chairperson apprised that she had taken up the issue of direct bridge from MajaltaMorh to Majalta tehsil headquarters. He further informed locals about projects projected by her like National Highway from SudhMahadevuptoRamnagar (RounDomel) via Dudu, Basantgarh, Kalwanta, refurbishment of Roun-Ramnagar road including its re-alignment, Const. of road from Balpur to BabeyGarh Samna Banj Km 6th to 14th (length 9Km), Est. cost 863.33 lacs.Const. of road from Dramanto Lakhote (Length 04.75 Km) Est. cost 898.29 lacs), Const. Of Dhar road to Sortha (proposed under NABARD). Const of road from Gadena to Kutt/Dager. (proposed under NABARD & PMGSY).Const of Dhanu to Rang road. (Proposed under PMGSY), immediate forest clearance of Thail to Chountara road. (sanctioned under CRF), Road from Gaurikund to Karlah/Karlah to Gali.Road from Pyala-Uddak, Peuni-Tajoor road, Banu-Bilaspur road.
The function was also graced by Sushma Devi, Chairman BDC Kulwanta, Ashri Devi DDC Basantgarh, Mool Raj DDC Ramnagar-I, Bhim Singh SarpanchChiglaBalota, Meer Qasim, SantoshKumari and others.
