Arrangements for R- Day 2022 discussed at Doda

Doda | : Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) DodaDr. R.K Bharti Tuesday convened a meeting to discuss the arrangements for Republic Day- 2022 celebrations, here at the conference hall of DC office.
The meeting was attended by Senior Superintendent of Police, Chief Planning Officer, Project Officer ICDS, ACD, District officers, Executive Engineers of PWD, PDD and PHE, officers from Higher Secondary School and senior officers of Army and Paramilitary Forces attended the meeting.
The meeting was informed that the main function will be held at Sport Stadium Doda. The function would start with the ShehnaiVadan programme at 7.30 AM in the morning by the District Information Centre Doda.
It was also given out that contingents of JKP, JKAP, CRPF, Forest Protection Force, NCC Senior and Junior Division and various Government and Private schools shall participate in the event.
The Education Department was directed to submit the list of participating schools and other institutions to by or before January 15 to make arrangements for their transportation and other logistics.
The MC and PDD were asked to illuminate all the public offices as per the past practice. The Sports council was asked to ensure face lifting of the venue.
The arrangements for Drinking water facility, power supply, Parking facility, first aid arrangements, Sanitation, Security, Public Address System, Fire tenders, preparation of tableaus, Seating arrangements besides arrangements of Mementos and refreshments were also discussed.
The ADC Doda directed the concerned officers to maintain cleanliness in and around the venue. He also directed for arrangements of Health facilities and traffic arrangements.
It was also decided that final full dress rehearsal shall be held on 24th of January 2022, besides screening of cultural items shall be conducted on 16th January by the designated committee.
