R- Day arrangements reviewed at Kulgam

Kulgam | : To review and finalize the arrangements for ensuring Republic day-2022 celebrations, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat Saturday chaired a meeting of officers at Rest house Chawalgam, here.
The DC sought details from all officers about the arrangements being put in place for smooth conduct of the function.
The meeting also discussed arrangements including security, seating, car parking, transport, illumination of buildings and sanitation.
It was informed that the national flag will be unfurled by the chief guest followed by a parade by the contingents of JKP, CRPF, IRP, Home guard, NCC and other cadets.
The DC directed the officers to organize colorful cultural programmes on the day. He also directed them to put in place proper heating arrangements keeping in view the winter season and prevailing cold weather conditions for trouble free rehearsals and final day celebration.
Concerned were also directed to make seating arrangements with proper social distance keeping in view the presence of Covid.
ADC, ACD, ACR, Dy-SP-DAR, Commandant CRPF- 18th Bn, Dy- CEO, CMO, Dy-SP Hq, Executive Engineers of R&B, PHE and PDD, District Youth Services and Sports Officer, EOs and other district and sectoral officers attended the meeting.
