New Year New Hope: Make Strides with Obstinate Promises

As the New Year begins, we feel that we need to make changes in our life, start on a new path, do new things, and say goodbye to old habits, problems and difficulties. Often, we start making new plans and new resolutions. We might feel elated, inspired and hopeful, but sometimes also apprehensive. The question is whether we will continue and persevere, or quit our plans and resolutions. Always bear in mind that irrespective of New Year or new day, your own resolution to succeed is more important. Life’s journey ends just by counting the years. Time cannot be confined to good or bad. But it is up to us to decide how we spent this time. As the last sun of 2021 is gone, but still my heart is full with anonymous sadness. Undoubtedly, like 2020, the outgoing year 2021 too was a year of great trials for the whole world. Corona’s monster engulfed millions of innocents. Millions are still fighting a life-and-death battle with it. The economy of nation collapsed in the blink of an eye and shutting down jobs, businesses, schools and offices left millions unemployed which added more to the miseries. If you rewind the past once and play this movie on the screen of your mind, then you will definitely get nervous as well as upset. No doubt time is the greatest reality of the world and the moment one passed never reverts back but for those who value time, time is always within their reach and those who do not realize the time, even time is not faithful to them. During this year the hopes of many aspirants were dashed and for some the darkness grew. So now everyone around the world is ready to welcome the New Year in their own way. Someone is going to light a lamp, someone is welcoming it with fireworks and drummers, and promises will be made for the coming year. What so ever you are doing it is up to you but for me the New Year is a message of hope because hope is light for successful life, for those who hold the strings of hope in their hands, no matter how difficult the journey of life may be, the path is easily covered. No doubt sometimes in the journey of life there are times when we stand at the crossroads of hope and despair. Such a moment of hope and despair when darkness envelops us from all sides and nothing appears in the darkness of despair then only the hope makes us to go. Every New Year creates new hopes and new emotions in the heart of every human being. Almost most people think that the coming year will be better for us than the previous year. People are optimistic about a business or a job, just as everyone is optimistic about their needs. But the fact is that if at the beginning of the New Year some intentions are made with firm hope only then the person keeps himself active throughout the year to fulfill them. Such intentions bring good changes in human life to make life easier.People celebrate the New Year and on the other hand do not get out of the spell of old days. In fact, we do not go beyond our past memories. Every New Year will be like the old one if we do not change ourselves. In fact, the dawn of every new morning gives us a message of newness, gives us a new opportunity to change. Infact our new year will begin on the day we change ourselves and start with the determination to do something new and continue with perseverance. Do as much as you can do today even if it doesn’t make a dramatic difference today but in your future, at least it can make some difference. Get up and make yourself new for every day only then there is no problem if you celebrate the New Year. You really deserve congratulations if you follow every new day as the New Year instead the New Year as the old day.
So it is the time to go ahead and to admit the mistakes of past. Instead of cursing the past and the situation we need to welcome each new day or the New Year with new hope, new determination and new enthusiasm. If you want to reach at the highest pinnacle of your life, stop repeatedly and stop looking back. At last to conclude with it can be said that do today as much as you can. Do your duty right from today as a good citizen for the betterment of yourself, society and nation as a whole. You know far better that the world wasn’t made for hatred and pain. So on this new day of the year, new day of the dawn and the new day of the hope, I pray to you all not as someone distant and aloof, but as someone near to me, near to us, even in the midst of chaos, I don’t have to shout to get your attention; you are close enough to hear my broken whispers. No matter how strong or weak I feel, no matter how much or how little faith I can muster, you all would have started by whispering this that the world and so our nation too is in turmoil. So on this day let we hope and pray, even though it seems impossible: Free us from hatred & greed and give us peace. May the New Year bring an end to violence and hatred, discord and distress, bring justice to the downtrodden, restoration to the marginalized and abused, hope to the hopeless. Guide and give all of us, the grace to admit when we are wrong and to seek forgiveness. May the year 2022 bring new hope for job seekers, new hope for peace lovers, new hope for well wishers and over all the new hope for all humans and humanity. In short may this coming year bring happiness and peace to one and all of us. HAPPY NEW YEAR WITH NEW HOPE.
