Pulwama | : A mock drill on disaster management was conducted at New Hospital Building Kakapora, here Wednesday by the DDMA with support and guidance of NDRF.
The NDRF personnel displayed the process and procedure to be followed after the occurrence of a disaster.
Methodical search and rescue operations, evacuation of victims, types of equipment and its use, use of canine teams, rescue in multi-storied buildings, etc. were demonstrated during the programme.
Among others the event was attended by Nodal Officer, District Disaster Management Authority Pulwama, S A Raina; Community Volunteers and other concerned.
