DC Ramban releases “Village Amenity Directory- 2019-20”

Ramban | : Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam Monday released Village Amenity Directory (VAD) for the years 2019-20 of the District, here at a simple but impressive function. The Village Amenity Directory has been issued by the District Statistics & Evaluation Officer, Ramban.
CPO, Dr. Kasturi Lal, ACD, Zamir Rishu; DSEO, Ganesh Kumar; Dy. DEO, Lal Chand; AD, Planning, Ashsaq-ur-Rehman and various other senior officers.
On the occasion, the DC said that the basic objective of this publication is to bring out every year a database for measuring the developmental performance of different sectors and general economic profile of the area falling in the district.
The DC also appreciated the efforts of the DSEO and his team for efficiently compiling the data and publication of VAD-2019-20 in a good manner.
The DSEO informed that this publication has been prepared in the standardized format as prescribed by the Director General Economics and statistics, so as to maintain uniformity of the data at the district level and is of 13th in series.
In the present publication titled “Village Amenity Directory (VAD)” 2019-20 efforts were made to give a detailed presentation of different developmental sectors that are helping in improving the socio- economic conditions of the inhabitants of the district, he added.
