2 militant associates arrested with incriminating materials in Pulwama: Police

Srinagar| : Police on Monday said that it has arrested two militant associates linked with Jaish-e Mohammad(JeM) militant outfits and also recovered incriminating materials from their possession.
In a statement issued on Monday police said that acting on specific inputs Pulwama Police along with 44RR and 182BN CRPF apprehended two militant associates linked with JeM militant outfit and identified as Adil Ali son of Ali Mohd Bhat resident of Acchan and Asif Gulzar son of Gulzar Ahmad Dar resident of Hajidarpora, stating therein further that incriminating materials of JeM were also recovered from their possession.
“Preliminary investigations revealed that the arrested duo were in touch with JeM commanders & were involved in providing logistics, shelter as well as transportation of arms, ammunition and explosive materials to the militants of JeM militant outfit to strengthen militant networks operating across district Budgam, reads the police statement, adding therein that “ a case under relevant sections of law stands already registered at Police Station Litter and further investigation is under process”.
