Police facilitates Police-public interaction meetings in Budgam

Srinagar: Police in Budgam facilitated various interaction meetings across district Budgam. The meetings were held while following social distancing norms and other protocols.
These meetings were held at Police Stations Budgam, Chadoora, Beerwah, Khan Sahab, Charar-e-Sharief, Magam, Khag and Police Posts of District Budgam. Senior Police officers including SDPOs, SHOs, IC PPs and other officers chaired these meetings at respective Police Stations and Police Posts. These meetings were attended by respectable citizens of these areas.
During these meetings, the participants highlighted various issues pertaining to civil & Police administration. Various issues related to Police were resolved by the chairing officers on spot & assured them full cooperation in resolving the genuine problems pertaining to Police in shortest possible time while the issues pertaining to civil administration will be taken up with the concerned at an earliest.
The participants were also requested to make use of masks mandatory and practice social distancing as a norm and were made aware about the necessary precautionary measures to protect themselves and their families from emerging variants of Coronavirus.
The participants in these meetings assured their full co-operation to Police in tackling social evils and also appreciated the efforts of Police in facilitating community interaction meets where participants express their opinions freely.
