Srinagar |: Observing ‘Good Governance Week’ as part of Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav, J&K Bank disbursed fifty loan cases under various Government sponsored schemes in a function organised at the Bank’s Cluster Office in Kulgam.
District Development Commissioner (DDC), Kulgam, Bilal Mohi-ud-din Bhat chaired the function that was attended by Lead District Manager Arshid Qadri, Cluster Head Iftikhar Abdullah, District Coordinator KVIB, beneficiaries of the schemes besides officers from the lead bank and cluster office.
While distributing the sanction letters among the beneficiaries, DDC urged them to be self-reliant by proper utilization of finances availed under the sponsored schemes and work hard to create job opportunities for youth in their individual ventures.
Expressing his satisfaction with J&K bank for speedy disposal of cases, he appreciated the Bank’s role in taking lead in credit dispensation in the district as major contributor to the District Credit Plan. The Bank’s Cluster Head presented vote of thanks.
