DDC Shopian reviews progress of works under DCB, DDC, BDC, PRI components

Shopian | : The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishya Friday convened a meeting to review the works of RDD taken up under District Capex Budget (DCB) plan 2021-22 besides DDC, BDC and PRI components.
At the outset, the DDC took sector-wise review of works undertaken by the department to cater to the developmental needs of the district with focus on strengthening grassroots level democracy.
Speaking on the occasion, the DDC stressed on the concerned authorities to take all possible measures to accelerate the pace of ongoing works for their time-bound completion.
Vaishya impressed upon the concerned officers to simultaneously submit the bills of the completed works in order to avoid any kind of inconvenience in future and added that no laxity will be tolerated in this regard.
The DDC exhorted for mobilizing men and machinery for completing the works in stipulated time frame besides urged to ensure productive and fruitful utilization of the available resources.
He asked all the concerned officers to work in close synergy to provide maximum benefits to the people.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Shopian,Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani, Joint Director, Planning, Khursheed Ahmed Khatana, Assistant Commissioner Development, Assistant Director, Planning, Tehsildars, BDOs, District Treasury Officer, DE&SO and other concerned were present.
