Kupwara : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din today visited Thayan Gujraan in Kalaroos block and met the 3 families whose residential house was damaged in a fire incident recently.
The DC was accompanied by DDC member Kalaroos, Ghulam Mustafa and concerned officers.
The DC on the occasion expressed sorrow over the damage of the house and assured the fire suffers of all possible support from administration.
He provided an immediate cash assistance of Rs.10000 to each family under the Red Cross Fund.
Moreover, he also provided 38 blankets, food kits, a cooking stove and buckets to all the three families.
