Self-employment Melas, awareness progs mark Good Governance Week campaign in Kishtwar

Kishtwar |: As a part of Good Governance week campaign and to redress the grievances of people at their doorstep, district administration Kishtwar organised a series of public grievance redress camps at designated places.
The officers listened to the grievances of people and made them aware about various beneficiary schemes/welfare initiatives.
Deputy Commissioner Ashok Sharma participated in the grievance redressal Camps at the various Panchayats of block Bounjwah in presence of DDC members Amina Begum and District Panchayat Officer Sunil Bhutyal and other district officers.
The Deputy Commissioner listened to the grievances of People and the issues pertaining to roads, water, power supply, education and health sector.
Responding to the public demands, the DC Kishtwar assured them that their issues have been documented and will be projected to concerned departments for immediate resolution.
The Deputy Commissioner also apprised the people about various initiatives taken by the government for the socio-economic uplift of people.
He informed them about the online land record facility under “Apki Zameen Apki Nigrani” initiative. He also apprised them about the Jal Jivan Mission and assured that all the left out habitations will be covered under mega water supply Schemes by 2022.
He asked the PRIs to monitor the progress and quality of development works being executed in their respective jurisdiction to ensure creation of durable assets. He appealed to people to strictly adhere to COVID Appropriate Behaviour by using a face mask, maintain social distancing and maintaining hygiene and go for the 2nd dose of the Covid Vaccine as and when due.
Meanwhile, a Special Services Delivery and Grievance redressal camp organised under Good Governance week was chaired by ADDC Sham Lal as Panchayat Mentor Of Lachdayaram A, block Kishtwar.
Similar Block Diwas programme was held at Chatroo under the supervision of SDM Chatroo Inderjeet Parihar and block Mughal Maidan and other places.
