Ajmeer| Dec, 20: National Conference President Farooq Abdullah last Sunday reached Ajmeer and offered prayers in the dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chisty. Abdullah is a regular visitor to the dargah and a believer of Sufism.
Talking to reports he said that he is also waiting for elections in Jammu Kashmir and will attend a meeting on delimitation of assembly seats in Kashmir on Monday in New Delhi. On the question of condition of Kashmir, Abdullah said the media should go and find out for themselves. He denied any collaboration with BJP and said that his party never had any ties with BJP and they have their own agenda. They are waiting for the elections and will contest it.
The central government has invited 14 key political parties of Jammu and Kashmir for delimitation process in J&K to start the political process in Jammu and Kashmir. Abdullah said that his party will attend the meeting as there are chances of scheduling of assembly elections. Abdullah had come to attend a ceremony in Jaipur and on Sunday he reached Ajmer where he stayed in circuit house. Later, he went to the dargah and offered chaddar and prayers.
