DM Shopian visits various Grid Stations of PDD, takes stock of power scenario in the distt

Shopian |: The District Magistrate (DM) Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishya Monday visited various Grid Stations of Power Development Department of Shopian, including, Gagron, Batapora and Alyalpora to take stock of power scenario and to ensure complete restoration of power supply in the district.
The DM conducted a visit and ensured restoration of power supply in wake of the strike called by the employees and engineers of the Power Development Department.
At these Grid Stations, the DM interacted with the employees and engineers of Power Development Department, heard them patiently and said that their demands and other issues are already under the consideration of higher authorities and exhorted upon them to restore the power supply in the district immediately.
He stressed for restoration of power supply without any failure so that people may not suffer any more during the crucial winter days, saying patients on oxygen concentrators should not face hardships as they are in dire need of electricity and have aspirations with the District Administration.
