Dali Udyanpur in Doda being promoted as Milk Village

CEO Livestock Dev Board Jammu reviews implementation of Central, UT Schemes in the distt

Doda | : Village Dali Udyanpur of district Doda has been identified for its promotion as Milk Village under the Integrated Dairy Development Scheme.
The information was given at a meeting chaired by Chief Executive Officer, Livestock Development Board Jammu to review the achievements made under Centrally Sponsored and J&K Government Schemes in the District.
It was informed that Dali Udyanpur has been tagged for promotion as Milk Village and 165 persons have applied for the establishment of Dairy farms under Integrated Dairy Development Scheme. The list of persons has been submitted to the Livestock Development Board Jammu, the meeting was told. The CEO took a detailed review of the implementation of Integrated Dairy Development Scheme (IDDS).
The meeting was attended by Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Doda Dr. Sanjay Kumar Sen; Poultry Development Officer, Dr. Akhter Hussain; Superintendent District Veterinary Hospital Doda Dr. Ashfaq Ahmed Kelam, who is also the Nodal Officer for NADCP (National Animal Disease Control Programme) and Integrated Dairy Development Schemes induction. Veterinary Assistant Surgeon/Nodal Officer Milk Village Dalli Udyanpur Dr. Shahid Latief, Veterinary Assistant Surgeon Incharge NAIP (National Artificial Insemination Programme) Dr. Mudassir Nzar and other officers and officials were also presengt.
About the National Animal Disease Control Programme (NADCP), the CEO was told that 83.6% animals have been vaccinated and the same was uploaded on INAPH. The chair directed not to leave any animal untagged as well as unvaccinated. Regarding the National Artificial Insemination Programme (NAIP), the CEO was informed that uploading of Data will be completed before December 31, 2021.
Requisition for cryocans and Community Bulls was also discussed.
Discussing livestock Insurance, the chair expressed satisfaction over 100% achievement of set Target.
