Covid-19 In JK: 2 deaths reported in last 24 hours, toll stays at 4510

Srinagar, Jammu : Jammu & Kashmir on Friday reported 136 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 40 from Jammu division and 96 from Kashmir division, taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 339540, said J&K Government on Friday in it’s daily covid bulletin, adding therein that “ two fresh COVID deaths have been reported; 01 from Jammu Division and 01 from Kashmir Division taking the overall covid death toll to 4510 in Jammu & Kashmir.
In it’s covid media bulleting the government further said that moreover, 121 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 32from Jammu Division and 89 from Kashmir Division. The Bulletin also said that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported Friday, thus the total number of confirmed cases remains 50 across J&K..
On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 59,856doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to1,75,06,578.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 339540 positive cases, 1448are Active Positive (365 in Jammu Division and 1083in Kashmir Division), 333582 have recovered and 4510 have died; 2193 in Jammu division and 2317in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 18546851 test results available, 339540 samples have tested positive and 18207311 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 59,048 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 4938705 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 7307persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 1448 in isolation and 429583 in home surveillance. Besides, 4495857 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported Friday, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 54 cases, Baramulla reported 10 cases, Budgam reported 07 cases, Pulwama reported 02cases, Kupwara reported 04 cases, Anantnag reported 04 cases, Bandipora reported 04 cases, Ganderbal reported 11cases while as Kulgam and Shopian reported no fresh cases for Friday.
Similarly, Jammu reported 18cases, Udhampur reported 06 cases, Rajouri reported 03 cases, Doda reported 06 cases, Kathua reported 05cases, Samba reported 01 case, Poonch reported 01case while as Kishtwar, Ramban and Reasi reported no fresh cases for Friday.
The bulletin further informs the general public that they can contact helpline numbers 0191-2520982/2674444/2674115/2674908/2549676 in Jammu Division and 0194-2440283/2430581/2452052/2457313/2457312 in Kashmir Division for any kind of guidance and assistance.
In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
