He added that in this competitive world career counselling helps students to understand the career options that they have, and helps them to understand their own strengths and weaknesses with regard to their present course or profession.

Bhatia of 11RR , Tehsildar Mughal Maidan Nayiem Iqbal , Block Development Officer Inderwal Mr Tasleem Wani and Mr Parvaiz Ahmed Station House Officer Chatroo interacted with the students and delivered lectures based on their respective fields and urged the students to set goals and build confidence to achieve success in their careers.
The speakers lauded the efforts of GDC Chatroo for arranging such types of programs with limited resources in one of the remotest colleges and assured the organisers of their full support and stressed for different collaborative efforts in future.
Dr. Ashaq Hussain while extending a special thanks to all the invited speakers congratulated the Career Counseling Cell and the Department of English for this initiative and expressed his satisfaction on the way how faculty has been working hard for the overall development of the students and the College.
Dr. Ashaq further added that as education systems are diversifying and expanding, the creation of new jobs and opportunities are changing the way and so the career choices. With such changes in place, career planning has become more complex and confusing as such the career counselling workshops have become the need of the hour.
At the end, an interactive question-answer session was arranged between students and the invited speakers which was the main highlight of the day. Students put forth their queries and doubts which were effectively answered by the resource persons.
The proceedings of the workshop were carried out by Dr. Jaswant Singh, Convener Career Counseling Cell in a coherent way.
