Anantnag: District Level Screening and Coordination committee under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, Dr Piyush Singla cleared 12 cases and forwarded their recommendations.
In 3 cases, the eligible beneficiaries were cleared for appointment under SRO 43. It is in place to mention that the beneficiaries are next of kin of persons who had lost their life in militancy related incidents. In 7 other cases, Rs 26 lakhs has been recommended as compensation in lieu of employment and incase of damage to property during militancy related incidents or riots.
The committee has cleared all cases pending before it and DC Anantnag has issued orders to ensure the meeting is held every month to clear cases without delay.
