Jammu | : The first programme of training series for Skill Development Department concluded Thursday at J&K Institute of Management, Public Administration and Rural Development (J&K IMPARD).
The training is being sponsored by SDD under Skills Strengthening for Industrial Value Enhancement (STRIVE) project which is a World Bank assisted Government of India’s venture aimed at to improve the relevance and efficiency of skills training provided through Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) and apprenticeships.
The objective of the training series is to strengthen the Industrial Training Institutions (ITIs) of J&K for empowering our youth through skill development. The officials of ITIs including Principals, Superintendents, faculty members and ministerial staff will be trained in the Capacity Building Series.
The first programme of the series was organised for the ministerial staff of ITIs of Jammu division which covered various themes like Employees Code of Conduct, Noting and Drafting Skill, Civil Service rules, GFR, GeM, e-Office, RTI and related subjects.
The valedictory function of the event was presided over by Director Trainings, J&K IMPARD, Jammu, Professor Reva Sharma.
Assistant Director, Directorate of Skill Development, Jammu, Mandeep Dogra, Assistant Director RDSDE, Jammu, Rajesh Kumar besides Course Coordinators from Srinagar and Jammu Dr. Mohammad Ashraf Dar and Dr. Ruchi Gupta respectively were also present during the session.
The programme was attended by 20 nominated officials from various ITIs from across Jammu division.
