Covid-19 In JK: 3 deaths reported in last 24 hours, toll stays at 4503

Srinagar, Jammu: Jammu & Kashmir Government on Wednesday reported 147 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 40 from Jammu division and 107 from Kashmir division, taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 339271, said J&K Government on Wednesday in it’s daily covid media bulletin, adding therein that three fresh COVID deaths have been reported; 01 from Jammu Division and 02 from Kashmir Division and as such the overall covid death toll mounted to 4503 in Jammu & Kashmir.
Government in it’s media bulletin further said that moreover, 125 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 17from Jammu Division and 108 from Kashmir Division. The Bulletin also said that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported Wednesday, thus the total number of confirmed cases remains 50 across J&K..
On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 48,006doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to1,73,94,022. According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 339271 positive cases, 1446are Active Positive (347 in Jammu Division and 1099in Kashmir Division), 333322 have recovered and 4503 have died; 2191 in Jammu division and 2312in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 18431117 test results available, 339271 samples have tested positive and 18091846 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 55,708 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 4885651 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 7140persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 1446 in isolation and 429488 in home surveillance. Besides, 4443074 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported Wednesday, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 47 cases, Baramulla reported 15 cases, Budgam reported 14 cases, Pulwama reported 04 cases, Kupwara reported 13cases, Anantnag reported no cases, Bandipora reported 02cases, Ganderbal reported 06 cases, Shopian reported 01 case while as Kulgam reported 05 fresh cases for Wednesday.
Similarly, Jammu reported 20 cases, Udhampur reported 01case, Rajouri reported 02 cases, Doda reported 07 cases, Kathua reported no case, Samba reported no case, Poonch reported 04cases, Kishtwar reported 01 case, Ramban reported 01 case while as Reasi reported 04 fresh cases for Wednesday.
The bulletin further informs the general public that they can contact helpline numbers 0191-2520982/2674444/2674115/2674908/2549676 in Jammu Division and 0194-2440283/2430581/2452052/2457313/2457312 in Kashmir Division for any kind of guidance and assistance.
In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
