Mega medical camp organized at in Rajouri town

Amid dry, hot and humid weather, hundreds of people including men, women and children mostly bare foot visited the revered suffi Saint Shrine Sheikh Noor-Ud-Wali popularly known as Nund Resh at Charar-e- Sharief in Budgam district on Sunday for prayers to seek rainfall to end the drought season in Kashmir valley. Rajouri |: On the directions of the Deputy Commissioner, Rajesh K Shavan, a medical camp was organized here at Ward No. 09 of Rajouri Town Tuesday.
Councilor, Sanjay Sharma was the chief guest at the event.
Various activities including Issuance of disability certificates, pension certificates, vaccination of the targeted population for COVID19, and health checkup of the public by the doctors of the GMC Rajouri were carried out on the occasion.
The disability certificates were also given to the beneficiaries by the Councilor, Sanjay Sharma.
The public was also made aware of Government schemes and programs meant for their welfare.
