Covid-19 In JK: 3 deaths reported in last 24 hours, toll stays at 4498

Srinagar , Jammu : Jammu & Kashmir on Monday reported 119 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 26 from Jammu division and 93 from Kashmir division, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 338990, said J&K Government on Monday in it’s daily covid bulletin, adding therein that three COVID deaths have been reported including 1 from Jammu Division and 2 from Kashmir Division and as such the overall covid death toll mounted to 4498 in Jammu & Kashmir.
Government in it’s above referred covid bulletin further said that moreover, 215 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 84from Jammu Division and 131 from Kashmir Division.
The Bulletin informs that 01 new case of Mucormycosis has been reported Monday, thus taking the total number of confirmed cases to 50 across J&K.On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 44,395doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to1,73,10,568.According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 338990 positive cases, 1442are Active Positive (326 in Jammu Division and 1116in Kashmir Division), 333050 have recovered and 4498 have died; 2190 in Jammu division and 2308in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 18324013 test results available, 338990 samples have tested positive and 17985023 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 49,100 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 4836465 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 6871persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 1442 in isolation and 429475 in home surveillance. Besides, 4394179 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported Monday, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 48 cases, Baramulla reported 11 cases, Budgam reported 06 cases, Pulwama reported 03 cases, Kupwara reported 08 cases, Anantnag reported no cases, Bandipora reported 08 cases, Ganderbal reported 08 cases, Shopian reported 01 case while as Kulgam reported no fresh cases for Monday.
Similarly, Jammu reported 20cases, Udhampur reported 02 cases, Rajouri reported 01 case, Doda reported 02 cases, Kathua reported no case, Samba reported no case, Poonch reported 01cases while as Kishtwar, Ramban and Reasi no fresh case for Monday.
The bulletin further informs the general public that they can contact helpline numbers 0191-2520982/2674444/2674115/2674908/2549676 in Jammu Division and 0194-2440283/2430581/2452052/2457313/2457312 in Kashmir Division for any kind of guidance and assistance.
In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
