Covid-19 In JK: 1 death reported in last 24 hours, toll stays at 4491

Srinagar, Jammu: Jammu & Kashmir on Saturday reported 182 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 33 from Jammu division and 149 from Kashmir division, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 338745, said J&K Government on Saturday in it’s daily covid media bulletin, adding therein that “also, 01 COVID death has been reported from Kashmir Division and as such the covid death toll in Jammu & Kashmir has mounted to 4491.
Government in it’s above referred covid media bulletin also said that moreover, 204 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 37from Jammu Division and 167 from Kashmir Division. Government in it’s bulletin also said that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported Saturday.
On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 46,542doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to1,72,53,151. According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 338745 positive cases, 1595are Active Positive (418 in Jammu Division and 1177in Kashmir Division), 332659 have recovered and 4491 have died; 2189 in Jammu division and 2302in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 18220012 test results available, 338745 samples have tested positive and 17881267 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 57,363 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 4771350 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 6656persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 1595 in isolation and 428716 in home surveillance. Besides, 4329892 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported Saturday, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 66 cases, Baramulla reported 20 cases, Budgam reported 16 cases, Pulwama reported 05cases, Kupwara reported 26 cases, Anantnag reported 01 case, Bandipora reported 08 cases, Ganderbal reported 06 cases, Kulgam reported 01 case while as Shopian reported no fresh cases for Saturday.
Similarly, Jammu reported 13cases, Udhampur reported no case, Rajouri reported 03cases, Doda reported 06 cases, Kathua reported 01case, Samba reported 01case, Poonch reported 04 cases, Reasi reported 01case, Kishtwar and Ramban reported 02fresh cases each for Saturday.
The bulletin further informs the general public that they can contact helpline numbers 0191-2520982/2674444/2674115/2674908/2549676 in Jammu Division and 0194-2440283/2430581/2452052/2457313/2457312 in Kashmir Division for any kind of guidance and assistance.
In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
